Apamea scoparia is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from Newfoundland to British Columbia and adjacent northern states of the United States, north to the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and possibly Alaska, south in the west to California and Utah.
The wingspan is about 43 mm. Adults are on wing from June to September depending on the location.
